This is probably the same curl issue that was discussed in another thread.
To workaround, try to add option to /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg.
At the top of the file, there is a section (by default, it's empty):
{
}
In that section, add the following line so that it looks like this:
{
curl-options: -L
}
Then try again.
