Hi, I discover a problem when dealing with draft: when I write a email in html and then save it as a draft, it is saved as both html and txt, more precisely as: =============================================== Struttura corpo messaggio Entità Content-Type Nome Codifica 1 text/plain 8bit 2 text/html 8bit Corpo del messaggio Received: from XXXXXXXXX (SquirrelMail authenticated user XXXXXXX) by XXXXXXXXXXX with HTTP; Tue, 12 Mar 2013 12:01:09 +0100 Message-ID: <b9afd3XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXecfb6.squirrel@XXXXXXXXXXX> Date: Tue, 12 Mar 2013 12:01:09 +0100 Subject: draft resume problem From: "Roberto" <XXXXXXXXXXXXX> User-Agent: SquirrelMail/1.4.22 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative;boundary="----=_20130312120109_29225" X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Importance: Normal ------=_20130312120109_29225 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit 1 this is the 1st version of draft ------=_20130312120109_29225 Content-Type: text/html; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
1 this is the 1st version of draft
------=_20130312120109_29225-- =============================================== and that is OK; the problem arise when you resume the email and perform some modification, for example changing the content of the body, and now a problem arise: the email is now a sum of 3 or 4 parts: =============================================== Struttura corpo messaggio Entità Content-Type Nome Codifica 1 TEXT/PLAIN 1.1 text/plain 8bit 1.2 text/html 8bit 2 text/html untitled-[2].html 8bit Corpo del messaggio Received: from XXXXXXXXX (SquirrelMail authenticated user XXXXXXXXX) by XXXXXXXXXX with HTTP; Tue, 12 Mar 2013 12:04:59 +0100 Message-ID: <7f6d152e6XXXXXXXXX5ac2.squirrel@XXXXXXXXXX> Date: Tue, 12 Mar 2013 12:04:59 +0100 Subject: draft resume problem From: "XXXXX" <XXXXXXX@XXXXXXXX> User-Agent: SquirrelMail/1.4.22 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed;boundary="----=_20130312120459_32171" X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Importance: Normal ------=_20130312120459_32171 Content-Type: multipart/alternative;boundary="0126fsu_trap_17123_95402121303102_=----" --0126fsu_trap_17123_95402121303102_=---- Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit 2 this is the 2nd version of draft --0126fsu_trap_17123_95402121303102_=---- Content-Type: text/html; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
2 this is the 2nd version of draft
--0126fsu_trap_17123_95402121303102_=------ ------=_20130312120459_32171 Content-Type: text/html; name="untitled-[2].html" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="untitled-[2].html"
1 this is the 1st version of draft
------=_20130312120459_32171-- =============================================== as you can see the dropper (hoped so) 1st version of the draft is still alive, and the risk is that a user will send an email with the body containing different version of the same draft. Is this a known problem or I am missing something ? Is there any fix / workaround (as I suppose this is a real problem) ? Anything I can do to solve it ? thanks in advance Roberto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 positioned as A LEADER in The Forrester Wave(TM): Endpoint Security, Q1 2013 and "remains a good choice" in the endpoint security space.
