Indeed.  Something really odd has been done to produce this.  In order
to understand it, we need much more information such as is described
in the mailing list posting guidelines plus all code customizations, a
dump of the user preferences, an exact and detailed click-by-click
explanation of how such mails are sent and read and the full message
source.
