Hi,
Ok let me re-phrase my earlier comments.
  The screen shot which you saw shows up when ever I click on search 
option. So, I don't even see the search page. All I see is some junk.
I am not using any compression in Apache. In php.ini I am using the 
following.
zlib.output_compression = On
