I have found what cause the problem with the html_mail plugins. This is because I have customized my login.php page (SM install folder/src/login.php).I 'm ispecting the code trying to find thewhat is wrong).I have reinstalled Squirrelmail from scratch and all except select_range worked fine untill I reapplied my customisation in login.php. when I reapplied the original login.php everithing except select_range worked.

with Select_range enabled (no customization apllied) now I have a blank right frame with only  the top menu (new message, addresse, folder, etc) displayed.

Thanks to Paul,Tomas,Helmut and all SM community for your help and sorry for wasting you time

Best regards
Ansley Jean-Louis
