Currently, you can only specify HTML signatures in the configuration of the Email Signatures plugin I believe. I think you can use the Vlogin per-user settings to set a per-user HTML signature via that plugin, which is something of a solution albeit quite convoluted. Otherwise, SM currently doesn't support storing HTML signatures.
