You need to show the actual message source so we know the exact link
syntax, but first...

You need to update your SquirrelMail software, since this is ancient,
and has likely been fixed in recent years.  Try again with version
1.4.17 or 1.4.18SVN and report back (with the message source) if it's
still broken.
