Thanks for the reply, I did see everything working including IMAP as the 
user who got the problem
can send and receive mail, they just can delete the mail, even when using 
another program (like Windows Mail)

>From mailserver log I got nothing except the "login" and "logout" of current 
user performing the operation while
other log files gave me no information or clue of what happened during the 
process

I'm now already updating squirrelmail on a different machine and wants to 
make sure this doesn't happen
again in the new system
