Aloha, Just wanted to follow up with this. I decided to side step the issue. I installed apache2, php5 and squirrelmail on the actual mail server and will redirect my users via the link they use to get to webmail. On this installation the browsers I've tested work properly and there is no issue of seeing other's email. Mahalo for responding to my call for help!
