after using for sometime, there are numerous httpd close_wait (netstat -a|grep http). Then, the httpd become not responding at all

A reload of httpd is required to clean all "close_wait" connections and become normal
All connections are related to squirrelmail.
According to man page of netstat, close_wait means the remote side is closed but waiting for local application to terminate.
