This is very unclear.  Accounts are created on the mail server, NOT in
any one mail client (Thunderbird is a client, SquirrelMail is another
client).

Sounds like you need to contact someone regarding how your mail server
is configured and how accounts are set up and authenticated.  This is
NOT a SquirrelMail question.  If you are not the system administrator
of your mail server, please contact whomever is.
