So I dont know what else you've got/done, what is your setup, completely 
with versions, any thing special, like special milters? Type of userbase- 
passwd? ldap? Cyrus? or whatever?

The more detailed you are, someone el;se running exactly or as close as 
possible to your configuration can double check, but under my 3 variants, 
it all works and I cant reproduce your error
