You should always get your autoreply system working correctly WITHOUT
SquirrelMail so you know what you need from the plugin (what files,
what format, etc).  You apparently have not done this.  That makes it
needlessly hard to debug your problem.  I might guess that you need
the -I option when vacation files are created.  That functionality is
added in the plugin version 2.1, which I am sending offlist, but if
you still have problems even with that functionality (watch for it),
then you need to take a step back and get a correct user autoreply set
up OUTSIDE of SM first.  Then you can determine what files or file
formats the plugin didn't create for you.  Also note the newer plugin
code uses Compatibility 2.x
