This sounds like it could potentially be a DNS timeout. Is squirrelmail trying to look up DNS information, but failing? is squirrelmail's apache config different enough from the apache config of other services on the box that apache serves (i'm assuming you're running apache, but you didn't say). Is the new system's DNS resolution reliably configured? do you get timeouts with dig or host? what about when you do reverse lookups (PTR records)? --dkg -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.5.8+ <http://mailcrypt.sourceforge.net/> iD8DBQFGOhJFiXTlFKVLY2URAoMcAKDcjdLheIHuqWNa8hOQW2+7oDf/lACgrwy7 v7/tTYhhFr1Hj5NWTrirzUw= =9+Yu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
