Yes i have tested, i must play a little with the plugincode. I let the users login with user@xxxxxxxx on the proxy/frontends but the backends just have cyrus and proxycyrus users setup, no @domain.tld auth as the frontends/proxy. So the proxyserver and avelsieve does not work well here in this (my) enviroment (i use 2.3.7 no cvs). So if i read the manual right, the avelsiev should connect to the same imapproxy/frontend as all other clients (like the webmail) and then be redirected to the right backend.... If this is a road to hell please let me know. Thanks for all help out here... /C Den Må, 2006-10-16, 17:12 skrev Alexandros Vellis: > On Mon, 2006-10-16 at 13:35 +0200, Casper wrote: > >> Is here anybody who got the squirrelmail-avelsieve working on a cyrus >> murder setup with multiple backendservers? >> >> The webmail is a seperate server, but the proxy (timsieve) should >> handle the connection to the right backend. >> >> But... as i asked before is here anybody who got this setup working? >> > > Yes, me. :) > > > The ManageSieve client in the devel version, and IIRC in the stable > version as well, can handle the Referrals just fine. > > Also, if you have a somewhat recent version of Cyrus 2.3.7+CVS, > timsieved will be able to proxy the connection, if the ManageSieve client > cannot handle referrals. > > It *should* work, but if it doesn't, please give me a heads up.
