Display new Mails in Subfolders

Hi,

I just have installed a basic version of squirrelmail on my computer (debian)
and it stars up fine.

After fetching emails they are properly shown in the inbox folder.

No I have created several subfolders and (at the moment) I'm using Kmail on
another machine to sort the mails (sieve is not installed yet).

This also works fine, and in Kmail i get the new messages shown in the
subfolders. When I activate the subfolder in squirrelmail there are shown
theses new mail as new mail but in the overview left, there are no clues that
there are new mails in the folder.

The second Problem I have is the languages. Under Options I said use German as
language. The help screens are shown now in German, but everything else still
stands English, whatever language i choose.

What Did I do wrong?

Steve
