Tomas and Tonino, Many thanks for your replies So it seems that we are narrowing choices: what about the following combination on RHEL 4.4 ? - PHP (from source) 5.1.6 - httpd (from source) 2.0.59 or 2.2.3 - squirrelmail (custom from source) 1.4.8-2 - up-imaproxy 1.2.4-1 My mailboxes are stored on a cyrus server. Antonio did report some problems with httpd 2.2.3 but I do not know if it has been tested with this combination. Which version would you recommend ? Please note that the new test server will not be updated before next summer semestrial, so I prefer to install the latest stable versions of any softwares and let it go.
