Hi, I replaced the shipped version of imap_general.php with a newer one (1.140.2.30 instead of 1.140.2.24) and everything works fine! Even the monthly subfolders of the sentmail box. :-) Thanks a lot!! But now I come to the next question: Is it advicable updating squirrelmail by just copying the newer .php files over the installed ones? Beside of the fact, that dpkg/apt doesn't know about the newer version, are there any sideeffects that I must be aware of? There already is nothing deeply configured, like sql-access or hundreds of mailboxes. It's just in a kind of testing, but of course I don't want to break the running mailsystem.
