How would that work? `tcp_outgoing_address` and `udp_outgoing_address` only accept IP addresses, I'm not seeing another option which would match those and allow to use a device name instead (my original requirement).
you'd find that the "eth0" interface has configured address 192.0.2.1 so you use 192.0.2.1 as outgoing address.
