I am using squid 3.1.23 and not planning on migrating to a higher version for another few months. squid says 8 Duplicate URLs purged It will not clear the actual stale files form disk so cache.log says there are 8 less files than find command says. I fall into this situation once every few weeks and I end up purging the whole cache or restore a back up of the disk cache. Is there any way to clear the stale files from disk instead?
