Please upgrade. Squid 3.0 has been in STABLE cycle for more than a year now. The PRE releases have very many known and fixed bugs.

I haven't seen this one before. After your upgrade see if its still occuring.

Sign. GoogleTalk. is broken, you are not the only one recently to have seen this. If you have any contacts with google, please yell at them. Those two bytes of binary data before 'CONNECT' should not exist.

I'm very interested in finding out exactly what their binary hex code is if anyone has a tcpdump or wire trace.
