Well I guess anything's possible, I certainly remember having to patch Win95 
for the AMD K6-II. Too fast (300MHz?), if I recall correctly :) I wouldn't 
call that "an AMD thing" tho'.

I'm not familiar with the Dell catalogue so those model IDs don't mean much to 
me, sorry.

Needs more data points anyway.

FWIW I also updated from i386 to amd64.
