G'day, There's a final release of Squid-2.6 coming up soon. Its a bugfix release so if you're running Squid-2.6 you may wish to give today's 2.6 snapshot a try. http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.6/changesets/ has the change details. Squid-2.7 should be released shortly after the next Squid-2.6 stable release. http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.7/changesets/ has the 2.7 change details. Our intention is to make 2.7 a smooth transition for existing Squid-2.5 and Squid-2.6 users. Squid-2.7 shouldn't be a surprise at all - various 2.7 snapshots are in production in very, very busy environments and I at least hope that Squid-2.7 will improve the performance of Squid-2.6 installations. We'd appreciate any testing that Squid users can give the current 2.6 and 2.7 snapshots.
