The Squid Web Proxy developers are pleased to announce the availability of the Squid-2.6.STABLE3 bugfix release. This is a major bugfix release correcting several critical errors in earlier releases. All users are recommended to schedule an upgrade to this release. Was broken in 2.6.STABLE1 and 2, often allowing a lot more bandwidth than the configured limit. - Reguests could hang when using the cache_dir max-size option - Now implements proper TCP fallback on truncated DNS response solving interoperability issues with some DNS servers In addition there is numerous minor bugfixes and improvements.
