What am I doing wrong? (I can't wait to get this fixed!)

That looks correct, what is your client? Can you get SPICE_DEBUG=1
full log when resizing the client window?

Sorry, don't know how. When I grab the lower corner (or
any corner), the entire window moves

Are you sure this is the way Spice is suppose to react to having
one of its corners pulled? Over on

http://www.spice-space.org/download.html
It states that
"This includes the qxl video driver and the SPICE
guest agent (for copy and paste, automatic resolution
       switching"

And it indeed does automatically switch resolutions from
boot up (small screen) to full desktop.

Also, in case it matters, this is my run line for Spice:

spicec --host 127.0.0.1 --port 5904 --title "KVM-FC21-x64"

You can try to change screen size with xrandr within VM. This worked fine for me up to 1920x1080. My monitor is 2560x1600, though :-(

spicec has spurious keypress bug if the network latency is not low enough. Even occurs with localhost sometimes. Better use spicy (spice-gtk).

Cheers,
Andres.
