In engineering level, I know some UAC using the answer they treated as answer in unreliable response and DO not modify the media plane by the *real* answer. I think this is correct behavior under current RFC.

And some UAC do more. Some ones is lenient, and changing it's media plane by the *real* answer.(some even listen on both the two different answers).
Some UACs is strict, after parsing the SDP, it termate the session.

ONLY the first behavior is normative. The second one is interesting, it is friendly(especially when UAC listen on both the answers), but real violation of normative text. The last one is violation of normative text, but it is UAS who violate normative text firstly.
