I have been trying to contact the owner to see if he ever had that computer concerted to the internet with stuff like wu-ftp open to the world and other similar stuff. I have not been able to reach him yet. Im doing all these remote. My understanding is that it will take on the average 24 hours (and maybe a lot less) to get your linux computer rooted if you connect it to the INTERNET with a default RH (any version) install.
