calling a plug-in from a script

i've got a general question calling a plug-in from a script.
i want a plug-in (e.g. plug-in-bluebox) process several files.
this plug-in uses a widget to get the user's data input (about 16
parameters)
until now i call this plug-in in a loop with a list of files specified
by user's input.
i call the plug-in with RUN-INTERACTIVE so the user gets the widget.
it would only be necessary to let the user do that one time because
the values should be the same for each processed file.
i'd like to call the plug-in with RUN-INTERACTIVE only for the
first time so the user has not to "OK" the values for each file processed.
in my script i call the plug-in with a kind of dummy-values because
the widget has constants and the user can change them. so the values
of the parameters are not important at that time.
but how can i preserve these constants or the user put-in values for
the next calls if running the plug-in NONINTERACTIVE? the plug-in
would take the dummy-values of my script, wouldn't it?

thanks in advance

Cheers

Michael
