Don't use Windows/telnet.. it's a joke.

Do a google.com search for "putty" and download that for use as a ssh/telnet
client.

Subject: [Redhat-s390-list] Unknown terminal: ansi

I have downloaded the latest build and when I issue RHSETUP I receive the
following error:

Please run 'rhsetup' to start the installation.
# rhsetup
Debug: this machine has IP = 198.112.60.97 and device = ctc0
Loading DASD kernel module. This can take a while.
Unknown terminal: ansi
Check the TERM environment variable.
Also make sure that the terminal is defined in the terminfo database.
Alternatively, set the TERMCAP environment variable to the desired
termcap entry.
Stopped installation. No cleanup is done!
#

I am using windows/telnet.

Regards,
Bill Held
