It's fixed in the version currently in rawhide. Get ftp://rawhide.redhat.com/pub/rawhide/SRPMS/SRPMS/xinetd-2.1.8.9pre14-5.src.rpm And rebuild it (use rpm --rebuild xinetd-2.1.8.9pre14-5.src.rpm).
