Xinetd is non-functional. Any attempt to start any server by xinetd results in the following error message logged to /var/log/messages: Feb 9 08:29:08 elf-ibm xinetd[1282]: execv( /usr/sbin/in.fingerd ) failed: Bad address (errno = 14) (The above is one example. I've tried any number of services from wu-ftpd to telnet - they all result in a similar message). Is there a fix for this yet? If not, can you point me to the source RPMS for xinetd (or perhaps execv) for S/390? Thanks, Michael Durket
