That's not what I said.  You are confusing "packages for your distro"
with "packages from your distro."  The former refers to packages which
are compatible with a given Linux distribution.  The latter refers to
packages supplied by the distribution vendor for a particular
distribution.  All members of the latter set are also members of the
former set, but not vice versa.
