RE: RPM that installs a slightly modified Redhat kernel

In the spec file, there's options at the top like

%define buildsmp 1
%define buildup 1

that they use later in the specfile to control what gets built.  Maybe
check those?

Oops.  For some reason, only the BOOT kernel RPM was built (which has a
minimal set of drivers).  I'm trying to build a SMP kernel, and that RPM
didn't get built for some reason.

Still investigating...
