Still I fail to understand: Does the a/m mean that AutoProv & AutoReq
ARE supported? Why are the 2 bundled in one?

You're right, of course. I cower in shame...
The discussed package is not under my maintenance repsonsibility. Thus I
was presented with this situation, and there came the questions I
forwarded to the list. As I understand, the redundant dependencies are
related to shared libraries never used on our system.
