By looking at other peoples spec files and at the RPM source.  I know
thats not the answer you want to hear, but it is presently the truth. 
 Some tags, %ghost for instance, have no clear defined behavior, and
thus there has been hesitation to document them.  There is a newer
version of Maximum RPM that Paul Nasrat has been working on with some
others, that may have some this stuff documented; don't know for sure.

Also, some things (for instance the --rollback switch supporting the
transactional rollback feature) have not been documented due to the
fact that in truth they are experimental features and are yet subject
to much change (or removal).
