Help for a noob

Hi. Im trying to build an rpm for the first time. Not sure if Im doing it 
right. I have an installable file (package.linux.sh) that you install by 
simply typing that name. It contains everything to install the package Im 
working with. Is that enough to create an rpm, or do I need more?  Thanks.
