I'm trying to install some rpm package with an other root (--root option)
rpm -ivh *rpm --root /mnt/mynewsystemroot
Everything seems to go fine untill I look in /mnt/mynewsystemroot ,
nothing seems to be installed
rpm -qa
and
rpm -qa --root /mnt/mynewsystemroot
return nothing
I did run rpm --initdb --root /mnt/mynewsystemroot
/mnt/mynewsystemroot is an empty partition.
