I have an interesting problem that may be either an rpm bug, or a bug in my package that I made.. I'm used to the functionality of removing an rpm using the "rpm -e packagename". If I try this on the package that I made, nothing happens, no files removed, no errors given, etc. If I issue a rpm -vv to get verbosity, all rpm does is open up the rpm database and close it. One would thing it would give some sort of error. The only way I could the package to remove is if I did "rpm -e packagename-version-release". I know for certain this isn't normal behavior, but my best guess is that this happens when doing subpackages as the package I made is a subpackage. Is this assumption correct? Thanks, James James S.
