Hi, I've got a bunch of machines running a stripped down Fedora Core 1. Unfortunately, a number of packages were installed or upgraded before "%_excludedocs 1" found its way into /etc/rpm/macros, so some packages had documentation installed. I'd like to fix up the rpm state on those machines so that they verify properly without modifying the files themselves (as the boxes are running remotely, and I don't want to remove openssh etc. I tried rpm --justdb --noscripts --notriggers --nodeps -e foo rpm --justdb --noscripts --notriggers --excludedocs -i foo*.rpm but that doesn't do the trick. Any suggestions? Is it possible to do what I want through the Python binding?
