I was running Redhat 8 with a fine working soundcard. After upgrading to Redhat 9 it stopped to work The soundcard detection recognizes the correct card: ALI Corporation M5451 PCI AC-Link Controller Audio Device trident but cannot set it up any more. Any advice would be much apreciated. Lutz redhat-config-soundcard delivers: /lib/modules/2.4.20-9/kernel/drivers/sound/trident.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
