Sorry,  but  I managed to fix the problem - at least partially. I just
had  to run #setup and then to setup my sound card. As simple as that.
Now,  however,  I  cannot  get  rid  of  the  echo effect. And I don't
remember turning it on in XMMS. Any ideas?
