I've done as directed with no luck. The package builds new modules all prefixed with snd including snd-maestro3.o Unfortunately, no sound yet. I played a little bit renaming stuff, no luck. I had not installed the alsa drivers with my previous kernel, and the sound still works there. In fact I rolled back my system to kernel 2.4.18-14 The overwhelming support I received from RedHat combined with the constant bugging of the redhat network monitor, may convince me finally to switch to Mandrake or Suse. Any suggestions? On Sun, 2002-10-20 at 01:21, William W. Austin wrote: > Mario J. Borgnia <mborgnia@xxxxxxx> wrote: > > > Same problem as reported before.
