What is the difference between a gpio_pin=1 and gpio_pin=8?

I wonder if there would be a performance difference between one over the other?

As I mentioned, if you're running the 7.x or 8.x errata kernel, the
maestro3 driver is *broken*. You'd need an earlier kernel, or you'd
have to pass 'gpio_pin=1' or 'gpio_pin=8' for it to work.
