Calling R from Java

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

hi list,

i have installed R-1.9.1-0.fdr.2.rh90.i386.rpm in my shrike box. Also
installed are j2sdk-1_4_2_02 & j2re-1_4_2_02,
I wanted to call R from within java and installed SJava_0.67-3(R CMD INSTALL
-c SJava-x-x-x-).
But it is not working. I have tried all the options given at
http://www.omegahat.org/RSJava/FAQ.html(even tried compiling R with
--enable-R-shlib). My PATH is set to /usr/java/j2sdk1-xxxxx/bin.
and LD_LIBRARY_PATH set as given in the FAQ.

I couldn't connect to the mail list there. Thought of posting here and get
help from someone who successfully implemented this.

Any pointers appreciated.

Thanks,
