Re: samba on dual booted hard disk

Win98 cannot read any file system types but vfat/fat/dos, so,
did you install Shrike on vfat/fat/dos partitions only?

Win98 mounts hard drive, CD, and other partitions as drive letters
C: D: E: etc; what partition is your linux file system on,
from the perspective of your Win98 system?

"dual boot" implies only one OS runs at a time (Win98 or Shrike) so
samba has no involvement (samba shares files between two
computers, not between two dual-boot identities of the same
        computer)
