Just a little question: how did you know this? do you work with kernel,
or did you read somewhere else? I'd like to know so I can check if I get
some other problems.

Mostly, examining the /var/log/messages. I noticed some messages about kernel not being able to load modules char-major-xx-yy.

Ahhhhh! :)

Now I see...

watching the /var/log/messages I can see in its last line:
modprobe: FATAL: Module sound_service_0_0 not found.

Am I missing something? Because sound is working very well. And I couldn't find any sound_service_0_0 in my modprob.conf or modprob.conf.dist

Again, thanks for your help.
