Very few things if any can guarantee 100% reliability and spam blocking is no exception. Any product that claims that would be suspect since the only way to make that guarantee would be to block all email. If you can block better than 90% of the junk you are doing well and making it manageable. You can adjust the threshold levels on spamassassin but you will spend more time going through the possible junk mail folders to find legitimate email. I think that is worse than getting an occasional spam message.
