I can recommend AbiWord 2.x. I use it with both RH 9, and freeBSD 5.xIs there any better word processor for Linux out there, other than oowriter? Windows compatability is not an issue as long as the program will print nice letters and forms.

It provides (IMHO) excellent word processing power with spell-check and thesaurus. For your basic word process it is hard to beat. Loads fast, too. :)
