Since you didn't specify this the first time, it was assumed you were
trying to use the uw-imap that comes with Shrike.  Much in the same way as
"web server" will generally be taken to mean "Apache httpd"

This means that the scripts you are using in /etc/init.d are not chkconfig
compatable.  You will need to create the symlinks yourself in the
/etc/rcx.d directories (where x is the runlevel).
