1. You need to be in the same directory as sdm.sh and type ./sdm.sh instead of just sdm.sh.
That was it ... now I have an error on line 45 ... nothing is ever simple ... sigh.
I am going to make a wild guess that it may be a Java version conflict How do I request the Java version, please?
For the "RTM terrorists" yes, I tried "java -version" and man -k version and man -k java to no avail.
Maybe you can explain a bit more by "to no avail" since I get the following on my system....
[egreshko@misty sbin]$ java -version java version "1.4.2_01" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_01-b06) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_01-b06, mixed mode)
And I think that is what you are after.....
"-bash: java: command not found"
Sigh ... doc
